Premier centre for the Visual and Performing Arts in Brockville and area.

Arts Hub Brockville was founded to establish a permanent home for arts development for Brockville and area. The facility provides an excellent space to artists and audiences and gives a new life to a St. John’s church, an historic building in downtown Brockville.

  • To provide safe accessible affordable environment with resources to promote and cultivate new and existing arts

We realize this purpose through a number of activities:

Workshops: Visual arts; Theatre; Choral; Written word

Rental of space: Studio space for artists in residence; partner groups such as Youth Opportunities in the Arts; stage and theatre rehearsal space; local artist paint ins

Performances: Main Stage Shows; Smaller Gallery Stage Shows, each supported by lighting, sound, staging and display equipment as required by the event as well as feature signage

Continuing to make space available for community outreach groups such as Scouts Canada and the community lunch program offered by St John’s United Church.

  • St John’s United Church offers a main stage, located in the sanctuary portion of the building.  This space boasts one of the best natural acoustics in the city of Brockville.  With a seating capacity of approximately 200, it provides a venue that is intimate for both the performers and audiences alike.  In this space, one can draw a crowd of 100 to 125 people and still feel like they are performing to a full house.  A fee structure will be offered that promotes developing talent to create their own shows with the support of professional quality lighting and sound equipment.  As for our audiences, the space is fully accessible from the Park St entrance.
